Growing. And I need real bread flour.

Dear Fleur.
I have been sitting here writing my essay forever now. And it's past midnight. Awesome. Because I have to get up early tomorrow and babysit and iron my hair and make bread.
I found a new cookbook and died.
It's Jim Lahey's My Bread. And I already read it cover to cover twice.
It made me want to go to Rome and never come back.
I really like bread. I don't know if I ever said that before. Probably. But I'm going to keep saying it. Bread is possibly my favourite thing. Next to flowers. But it's whatever. Actually, it's delicious.
But anyway. I'm going to use the Lahey method and bake in a dutch oven with no kneading and let it rise for 18 hours. O man. It makes me feel special just thinking about it. That is probably so weird too and I don't even care.

I'm reading Ruth and Isaiah. Drinking coffee right now too. And Julia Child rules my brain. I think I should probably inform everyone that Jim Lahey also gave his first girlfriend a loaf of bread just because. And that just makes me think of Boaz from the book of Ruth in such a weird way. I can barely wrap my mind around it.

I should really finish this essay. Maybe tomorrow. I need a breather. And more coffee.
Bell.

Done.

I am done with today.
I was at school for 9 hours. And I didn't even do my Art History exam because my teacher got sick and it was canceled.
I thought about youth this morning. And drank iced tea while Mandy was in math.
I also had some good stuff in my head about Joel. But I can't write it right now. I'm not articulate enough.
Finals is in 1 week. Bah. My last essay is on the effects of married women learning to cook. I'm going Julia Child on my teacher.
We'll see how it goes.
Tomorrow:
Skype date with Hana Rachel.
Baking.
Homework.
Art History cramming with Mandy.
Laundry.
Homework.
Bicycling.
Track&Field in the high school. Hallway runs.
Homework.
Tea.
Prayer.
Homework.
Alright. Goodnight. I am just done with today.

I like her hands.

I have been super busy.
I really don't even fix my hair anymore.
Mandy & I registered for classes on Saturday.
I'm in scriptwriting and early language & literacy and speech.
I woke up at 5 this morning to make a cake. It was kind of silly. I spent a long time on it. I've come to realize lately with Project Clothesless, I care more about food then what I'm wearing that day.
I look like a hippie now.
Tomorrow is Track too.
And I have to cram for Art History all morning. Gah.
Then teaching.
I so want to make bread.
At least I'm done my essay.
This will be crazy.
Please Paris get me through it.

Mud.

Dear Fleur.
This morning my older sister called and said I don't blog enough.
So.
Here I am.
Blogging.
I have to go to a birthday party in 5 minutes though.
Quick:
I've been reading Joel.
Thinking of theology.
Making presents.
Writing letters.
Studying/homework.
Brioche.
Strawberry tea love.
Practicing French.
Hafiz.
And,
I'm wearing pearls.
Bam. I totally win at life. But not really. Because I did not have a good morning.
Love Bell.

Day.

Dear Fleur.
I am listening to Lala's old songs.
But I need to go do homework.
And look for a pizzelle recipe.
And fix my hair. It is a very big mess this morning.
Love, Bells.

Out of ink.

I am so tired.
Tomorrow will be long.
And all about homework and curling my hair.
I got a polka dot package in the mail today. Merci Victoria who speaks French.
Today was long.

I wish time didn't exist.

I need to go draw more. And do homework. And make a list. Lists are always good.

Loving what you hate.

Dear Fleur.
So. I found blackberries last night. Tazza and Jenn and I went to a frozen yogurt place after school. I filled my little bowl with cheesecake yogurt and went over to the toppings and then proceeded to freak out. Blackberries. Strawberries. Blueberries. Raspberries. I used to hate berries. But c'est la vie.
This morning I woke up and my hair looked like it went through a blender. Then I had a fight with my little brother because I want to name a child "Atlas Hosea," and Atlas is a titan god. He is convinced that everyone will hate my kid if I do that. He reads too much Percy Jackson.
I have so much homework to do today.
We all watched James Bond together before bed. I think I liked the shower scene the best. And I know that sounds bad, but I promise it's not. It's just sweet. If spies can be sweet.
Now I have to go draw.
Love Bells.

Can you make a bowtie work?

Dear Fleur.
I've been doing Art History homework all day. Literally. Other than the times I took a break to draw men wearing neckties. And I was just completely inspired to draw a guy wearing a jean jacket via this picture. Which means I'll probably go sketch after this.
And watches. I need to draw watches more often.

Tonight I made baked apple dumplings. Then I almost started an oven fire. I drank chai tea too. And I'll probably make myself some dinner now. Tomato soup? Heck oui.

Never write a story with a lady who wears a pink dress covered in bows for the final scene. Honestly. It's torture for your ink pens. And your eyes. Neckties are easy. Fedoras are harder. Tiny bows? I want to scream.

Homework again. Gah, I'm sick of it. And soup.
Love Bells.

Right now I just want:

1. Really, really long hair. Down to my waist.
2. Wool socks.
3. NOT to do art history homework.
4. A nice pen.
5. Strawberry milkshakes.
and,
6. The entire State of W.A.
